rel=”nofollow” attribute on internal links

The rel=”nofollow” attribute prevents link juice from flowing from one page to another although visitors can click on the link go to the linked page.

If you are linking from one page on your site to another on your site, do not add ‘no-follow.

Adding such nofollow links does not work that well with internal pages because Google has tried to counter such website sculpting.

Use ‘nofollow’ only if you are linking to a site that you do not wish to endorse.
